This was a bit of an impulse buy after a long week of training, no regrets though. Shipping was faster than I anticipated, which was a nice bonus. The color is slightly darker in person than it appeared online, but I actually prefer it. Used it for ring work a few times now and the ankle support has held up well. It's survived some pretty rough sessions without any sign of wear yet. Ticks all the boxes I was after, glad I ordered it!!

No chafing or irritation anywhere, which isn't always guaranteed with new gear. Runs a touch narrow, so anyone with wider feet might want to size up. Been wearing/using the shoes during pad rounds, no issues to report.

Perfectly serviceable for serious training

A little rigid to start but it softened up nicely after a wash or two. This has mostly been for pad rounds, and I've been happy with the lacing system. Looks sharp both on the mats and out running errands afterward.

Our Gis are pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage after washing. However, like all cotton-based garments, slight shrinkage may occur if washed in hot water or machine dried. For best results, wash cold and hang dry.
